Núria Vilanova, president and founder of ATREVIA, was invited by the Chamber of Advertisers Paraguay (CAP) to deliver the conference “Leadership and corporate and internal communication”.
During the conference, the president of ATREVIA highlighted the importance of transforming employees into the heroes of companies and she elaborated the main ideas from the book “micropowers, internal communication for companies with a future”, published by Plataforma Editorial and recently acknowledged by the I2 SABRE Awards EMEA.
“When something motivates us we can do things that seem to be impossible and therefore the key is to motivate, involve and make –employees- feel like it’s their own project. Applying leadership that invites them to seize the banner of the company”, said Núria Vilanova.
She added that, “we need to involve employees and this means thrilling, sharing values, sharing objectives and in some way changing the style of leadership”.
Núria warned that is very difficult to innovate and the big innovations no longer come from the department of a company but instead the constant contact of each employee with the market. “Big ideas come from there but we have to build companies who are capable of listening to these ideas. Additionally, within firms always will be someone capable of explaining why “it is not the moment” to make the change”, she highlighted.
The event was carried out in La Misión Boutique de Asunción hotel and many professionals in the sector attended like partners of the CAP. This institution brings together and represents the rights of advertisers in the country to a free marketing exchanging goods and services at a local, regional and global level.
The event had amplified coverage by the Paraguayan press. Here you can consult the reports from ABC Color and Última Hora.
