The Awards for the Forum for Good Governance and Shareholding, celebrated on the 30th of September in the Palacio de la Bolsa in Madrid, have been the undisputed protagonists in the media this week.
National communication media like Expansión, Europa Press and ABC have echoed the ceremony for the awards which held the attendance of the president at the CNMV, Elvira Rodríguez, between other personalities in the Spanish business sector.
EFE, El Economista, Telecinco and other generalized and specialized media, have not hesitated to review the success of convening the event which was endorsed by the co-presidents of the Forum, Núria Vilanova (founder and president of ATREVIA) and José Ramón Pin (lecturer at the IESE Business School).
They have also highlighted the words from the president of CNMV, Elvira Rodriguez, who said that initiatives such as the Awards for the Forum for Good Governance “they are aimed to seek and promote companies that work to bring their corporate philosophy and principles of good governance included in the new code”. Also co-chair of the Forum, Núria Vilanova, dedicated a few words to the audience, saying that “the best way to motivate companies is the recognition of best practices“.
The Forum for Good Governance, created by ATREVIA and the IESE Business School, aims to promote transparency and ongoing dialogue with the shareholders of companies. In this third edition, awards were granted to Iberdrola and Repsol Peru for the Best Approach Initiative to the Shareholders of Spanish listed companies and Best Outreach Initiative to the Shareholders of listed companies in Latin America, respectively.
