Mr. Jesús Gracia Aldaz secretary for the State of International Cooperation and Ibero-America, awarded the Officer´s Cross medal from the Order of Isabella the Catholic to the president of the Iberian Chapter of the Business Council of Latin America (CEAL Ibérico) and the consultant of communication at ATREVIA, Núria Vilanova.
The King Felipe VI decided to grant this medal to Núria Vilanova after evaluating the work she carried out in favor of the Ibero-American countries.
The secretary of the State stated that “it recognizes Núria Vilanova´s merit and enthusiasm by joining Spanish, Portuguese and Andorran efforts”. Moreover, the work carried out from the president of CEAL Ibérica was highlighted to “attract different companies to perform social work and create wealth in the Ibero-American environment”.
The award was established in the 19th Century during the reign of Fernando VII with the mission of awarding these extraordinary civil behaviors, carried out by Spaniards but as well by people from other countries. The awarded behaviors benefit the Nation which relevantly contributes to favor amicability and cooperation relations from the Spanish Nation to the rest of the International Community.
The awarding ceremony was celebrated at Casa de América with the presence of family and friends.
