ATREVIA is a finalist in the EMEA Gold SABRE Awards 2015 for the campaign “Passion to help. Stories direct to the heart” carried out by Tena, SCA S.A. in the category for sectors in the industry for health service suppliers.
“Passion to help” is an initiative that was designed and created together with TENA, a professional products SCA brand in order to award the dedication and daily strength of those to take care of the elderly in nursing homes throughout Spain.
The starting point for ATREVIA is that SCA not only has to do with TENA for incontinence solutions, but they are also a company with a real commitment for a better world. They are committed to the security and sustainability of its products which are very important factors for clients and users. It is, finally, after all, a company that is committed to the care of people.
The campaign “Passion to help. Stories direct to the heart” recognizes the care tasks of professionals who work daily for the wellbeing of the elderly in Spanish nursing homes. It is the first campaign that was carried out to place value in the work, commitment and daily strength of nurses, nursing assistants, physical therapists and other professionals in this environment.
More than 300 residents from more than 16 provinces participated in a national competition where the professionals in charge of taking care of the elderly shared their testimonies and experiences through stories and photos. All these personal stories were collected and published in a book that was sent to public institutions, health association and nursing homes.
The initiative was supported by the Ministry for Health, the General Nursing Council (CGE), the Spanish Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology Nursing (SEEGG) and nurses, nursing assistants and physical therapists who participated. This project meant for them the recognition of society for the work that they carry out daily.
