Núria Vilanova, founder and president of Atrevia, presented the study “values and communication in a family business” in Guatemala. The project was driven by ATREVIA together with the chairperson of Empresa Familiar from the IESE Business School. The study has resulted from two intense years working in connection with 30 of the most important companies in Spain, Portugal and Latin America from actual business perspectives.
The assistants at the UNIS Business School have obtained a panoramic vision of the main attributes, differences and challenges that face family businesses nowadays. The results of this study have been acquired with more than 30 in-depth interviews as well as quantitative analysis of data collected from close to 3,000 directors.
Guatamala has been one of the stops on the roadshow of family businesses that ATREVIA will propel along this year both inside and outside of Spain. Below is a video of the presentation in Madrid of the study where Núria Vilanova, co-author of the study together with lecturer at IESE Business School Josep Tápies stated the importance of the role of the values in the heart of these types of organizations in which communication is a key tool in its transmission.
