3g Smart Group in collaboration with ATREVIA held the Workplace Design Conference Mexico meeting, where leaders from companies such as SPACE, Ricoh, Nitromex and Citibanamex shared experiences and dialogue about transformation in organizations made by and for people.
The event held at Cinemex Antara, is part of the 19 Smart Conversations scheduled this year in 13 cities around Europe and Latin America and whose purpose is to generate debate on how to achieve positive impact on people and society through transformation.
Francisco Vázquez, president of 3g Smart Group, and Juan Carlos Baumgartner, founder and president of SPACE, welcomed this session which was divided into two conversations.
“We seek to turn the conversation around and talk about strategic design in organizations, to know the area of space, technology and people so that companies achieve their goals”, said Vázquez. “Every approach of an organization begins with people, culture and spaces, from there to define the purpose and make a cultural change that’s viable and impactful”.
For his part, Baumgartner said that in Mexico the greatest challenge for innovation is the ecosystem, it must mature even more in order to adapt to a model that promotes productivity and well-being. “In the country we have companies of ideal size to mold the ecosystem, technologies are available to organizations, they just have to want to transform.”
Pedro Miguel Casado, director of ATREVIA in Mexico, participated in the ‘Panel of CEOs’ in which he shared his vision on the importance of communication in the transformation processes: “We must be companies that communicate and not only inform. Throughout this process of transformation, intangibles infer a unique value that allows them to develop, and not precisely to be larger organizations, but to position themselves among their public and to have them understand the message of who they are”.
