ATREVIA has incorporated German Ríos, ex-director of Strategic Affairs in Madrid of CAF-Banco de Desarrollo de America Latina and added professor of Economics in the Department of International Relations and Global Affairs of IE University, as senior partner, position where he will bring his experience in the area of Institutional Relations and Internationalization of Companies.
With a profound knowledge in economics, and social political climate of Latin America, Rios will tie himself specially with strategic international projects and intelligence reports oriented at decision making for international companies who are clients of the company.
In addition to his work with CAF, where he worked for 18 years in different position and locations, Rios is, in itself, a member of the board of the Sociedad Economica Mundial, and editor at Academia.edu. He has been recognized multiple times, as one of the 50 most affluent graduate of the Instituto Superiores de Administracion (IESA) and was elected as regent chair of Andres Bello del Centro de Estudios Latinoamericanos of the University of Oxford.
ATREVIA continues to bet for the creation of new practices in consulting in communication with the incorporation of an important team of senior partners that, thanks to their ample experience, can lead new projects of global impact.
This appointment is an addition to that of Juan Luis Cebrián, ed-director of El País and ex-president of Prisa, last April, and to that one of Joan Clos, ex-mayor of Barcelona and ex-minister of Industry for Spain in May. Both participate already in the strategy of some projects for clients. In concrete, Cebrian is developing political analysis, climate audits and company positioning, while the collaboration with Clos its focus especially in areas of City, Urban Development, Mobility, Smart Cities, Tourism, City Brand and Country Brand.
