“Building Trust in Times of AI: Reflections and Challenges of Communication Today” was the theme of the event that ATREVIA organized to celebrate its 25th anniversary in Portugal. The main objective was to “create a space for exchange and reflection on the great transformations that communication is facing, marked by the growing integration of artificial intelligence (AI). The event focused on the changes that this technology is bringing to the sector, exploring how companies can keep building and maintaining the trust of their audiences, both internal and external, in a scenario of an accelerated technological evolution,” said the communication agency.
Throughout 25 years, ATREVIA has continuously worked to adapt and respond to emerging challenges in the vast world of corporate communication, and “this was a unique opportunity to deepen the understanding of emerging trends, addressing both the advantages of AI and the ethical challenges that accompany it,” as highlighted the agency, led by Núria Vilanova (in the photo, next to Miguel Seco, president of CCILE, and Daniela Agra, director of ATREVIA in Portugal). The event had two panels and six speakers from very diverse sectors, offering a complete vision and an enriching and inspiring dialogue. Núria Vilanova, founder of ATREVIA, starred in “one of the most inspiring moments, where the great challenges of communication were presented from a global and Iberian perspective. It was also an opportunity to hear first-hand the growth trajectory and international impact of ATREVIA”, the agency pointed out.
Under the sponsorship of the Portuguese-Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event brought together leading brands and professionals. The panel “The Art of Connecting and Impacting with Integrated Communication” counted with the participation of Patrícia Adegas, Communication director of Novartis Portugal, Joana Gaivão, Communication and Brand director of Abreu Advogados, Emília Encarnação, Institutional Communication director of Vista Alegre, among others. While in the panel “AI + People: The Inescapable Future of Companies”, António Branco, professor at the University of Lisbon and CEO of Portulan Clarin, and Luísa Ribeiro Lopes, president of the company’s board of directors, participated.
