ATREVIA, in the midst of the economic crisis, has grown and internationalized. It is a statement by José Ramón Pin Arboledas, professor at IESE, in an article published by ABC Economía on the investment Spanish companies make on I+D+i and which allowed them to grow and create jobs.
“I+D+i is not just in laboratories, it comes from peoples’ minds, from employees and employers”, stressed the professor by mentioning the case of companies such as Porcelanosa, Inditex or Mercadona.
And he also mentions another success case: ATREVIA “which in the midst of the crisis has grown and internationalized, increased the number of employees by introducing more products, used social media on corporate communication and developed a new department of public affairs. It was the new services which enabled it to develop from 2009 to 2015”.
“I+D+i is one of the areas which the economy should try. This implies that the human resources policy should allow the employees to have initiative and there is a culture which appreciates it. This is the first step to move forward, leave the competition behind and overcome the crises”, concludes the professor from IESE.
