ATREVIA, a Global Communications and Strategic Positioning company, has incorporated Ramón González as the new director of its Brussels office. The company has chosen him to oversee and manage one of its branches which is undergoing a significant expansion process. In this way, the company continues to consolidate its leadership as a reference entity in the area of Public Affairs, being one of the few companies in the sector with its own presence in the country.
Ramón González Bernal (Denia, 1986) holds a Law degree from the University of Salamanca and a master’s degree in International Relations from the Barcelona Institute of International Studies. He has also completed postgraduate studies focused on the impact of technological disruption in business at the London School of Economics. After his first position at ATREVIA as a senior consultant in Public Affairs, Ramón has worked as a Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Vodafone Spain.
“It is a luxury for me to return to one of the EU’s best Public Affairs consultancies and to join an office with the experience and growth potential of ATREVIA Brussels. I am confident that I will be able to share my knowledge of public affairs and the institutional environment of the EU to continue providing the professional, agile, and close services that distinguish us,” said Gonzalez.
ATREVIA has been successful in its dialogue with the public and institutional environment, something for which, according to Manuel Mostaza, global director of Public Affairs at the consultancy firm, “having our own office in Brussels plays an essential role since it helps to translate and analyze an ecosystem as complex as the community one. As recently indicated by the European Parliament, nearly 65% of the laws passed in Spain derive directly from EU regulations and initiatives. Therefore, we consider it essential to establish a ground presence in order to understand the rationale behind the stakeholders and the environment in which they operate, thus providing our clients with an exhaustive and informed analysis.
With its Brussels office, the company is committed to a strategy that combines extensive institutional and regulatory knowledge with ATREVIA’s own international experience in developing integrated regional strategic communication services. ATREVIA offers support and receives assistance from its extensive network of offices distributed throughout Europe and Latin America and in continuous collaboration with the entire team of Public Affairs professionals in Spain.
