ATREVIA, a global Communication and Corporate Affairs company, announces the incorporation of Glenda Ruiz, the new Country Manager of the group in Ecuador. The appointment takes place a few months after celebrating the 10th anniversary of the company in the country, where it already has a team of more than 30 collaborators in Quito, Guayaquil, Manta and Ibarra. ATREVIA has 600 multidisciplinary professionals working in 15 countries: Spain, Portugal, Brussels, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic and Uruguay.

Glenda Ruiz has an extensive experience in strategic leadership and corporate relations. Previously, she has held several key roles in companies such as Philip Morris International, where she has served in the last five years, as Head of Corporate Affairs for Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela, previously supporting the group’s Global Communication from Switzerland and assuming other positions, such as the management of Regulatory and Fiscal Affairs. In her career she has also worked as a consultant in Public Affairs for GEOPETSA and Cervecería Nacional, having also worked with the Ministry of Finance as an advisor for the Ecuador-USA Free Trade Agreement.
Her academic background includes an MBA at the International Program of the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez in Viña del Mar, Chile (2006), and two degrees from the Universidad San Francisco de Quito, Ecuador (2003): one in Business Administration and the other in Business Hospitality Management.
