It was celebrated in Madrid the 4th Women Working for the World international forum, in what was the first meeting until now celebrated in Europe. Under the title “The woman as a driving force of change”, the main goal of this prestigious forum is to give visibility to women’s opportunities and economic, social and political issues at global level.
Núria Vilanova, founder and president of ATREVIA, has participated as a speaker in a round table of business content focused on education. Mª Dolores Dancausa, Bankinter managing director; María José Álvarez, president of Eulen Group; and Mariana Norton, Cuatrecasas-Gonçalves Pereira partner, have also participated in this conference.
Speakers and guests focused on education’s key-role in any society for its sustainable development, through the inclusion of women in all its sectors. It is then necessary to improve women’s education, believe in their abilities and to promote male training without the presence of roles of gender. These are some conclusions extracted from this meeting, celebrated in Madrid and organized by the Juanfe Foundation, which also had the participation of Manuela Carmena, mayor of Madrid; famous mountaineer Edurne Happened or the Colombia’s ambassador, Alberto Furmarski, among others.
