ATREVIA, a global Communication and Corporate Affairs company, has named Daniela Agra as the director of the company in Portugal. This strategic move aims to unify the Lisbon and Porto offices and ensure seamless regional integration. Formerly the head of the Porto office, Agra’s new role will be pivotal in amplifying the company’s strategy in Portuguese territory and bolstering collaboration with Spain to cater to the growing project demands in the Iberian Peninsula.
Daniela Agra, a graduate in Social Communication from the University of Minho and in Communication Sciences from the University of Porto, has an impressive 15-year journey with the company. She initially worked on developing integrated and corporate communication strategies for diverse clients, both public institutions and private entities. From 2013 to 2016, Agra coordinated and led the Brazil office, overseeing various communication realms. Later, she took charge of ATREVIA Porto, adding strategic management of Brazil to her responsibilities.
After ATREVIA’s commendable performance in 2022, with aspirations of continuing this upward trend, the company entrusts Agra to spearhead its expansion, planning an investment of up to 5 million euros for acquiring new businesses in Portugal, primarily in Digital, Creativity, and Public Affairs domains.
In the agency realm, the new director will be instrumental in boosting Public Relations, Digital Marketing, and Creativity services, globalizing innovative projects such as our creative agency, “La Luna de ATREVIA,” previously operational only in Spain.
Agra will focus on propelling Public Affairs, Sustainability, and Internal Communication services in the consultancy sector, engaging in initiatives like our Internal Communication Observatory (OCI). This initiative aims to research, produce, and disseminate knowledge in areas of Internal Communication and Corporate Culture. On the innovation front, Agra will also play a crucial role in managing and evolving the ambitious Marketing Automation project across Iberia
In sync with this appointment, underscoring its commitment to bolster international positioning, ATREVIA has also amplified its presence in the US with Carlos Díaz-Rosillo as the Director of Positioning Projects and Strategic Support. Further, the firm has revitalized its expansion in Latin America with the addition of new directors in Colombia and the Dominican Republic.
Isabel Lara, ATREVIA’s Vice-President for Iberia, commented, “Daniela Agra has been instrumental in shaping the company’s trajectory in Portugal, driving growth in the Porto office, and cultivating the Brazilian market. Her strategic insight and adaptability make her the ideal leader for our innovative growth project in Portugal.”
Embracing her new role with enthusiasm, Daniela Agra remarked, “This is both a thrilling challenge and a hefty responsibility. I’m ecstatic and believe in our multidisciplinary team to tackle the ever-evolving market challenges. ATREVIA possesses every element to meet our client’s global needs. We’re better positioned to serve the market and our clients with offices in Lisbon and Porto. Our primary aim is to fuel their growth while also prioritizing our team’s development.”
