ATREVIA, a global Communication and Corporate Affairs company, hired Ignacio Mut as the new General Director of People. He will bring his knowledge and skills from his extensive experience in the HR environment to strategically promote this division of the company, one of the areas currently undergoing the most significant transformation and which has become one of the most relevant in the last few years.
Mut, who holds a degree in Business Administration from Complutense University and a Master’s in HR from ICADE, has an extensive career in People Management. He has played an important professional role in multinational organizations, having developed his career in service companies such as Accenture and Cap Geminio Tecnocom, as well as being very familiar with industrial environments such as Dédalo Grupo Grafico (Prisa), Moto Vespa, and Unide (Supermarkets).
He has extensive experience designing and implementing career plans, compensation and benefits programs, evaluation systems, training courses, conducting merger and acquisition integration processes ( conditions standardization and cultural changes), collective bargaining, and workforce management with international legislation. He is also a renowned expert in Corporate Social Responsibility, focusing on the Gender Equality Law and the General Law for Persons with Disabilities.
ATREVIA confirms the increasing relevance that the People Management area has gained in the last few years as one of the divisions with the greatest potential for the future. In the words of the president herself, Núria Vilanova: “Today, more than ever, we rely on people as our greatest asset, and we are convinced that the present and the future are based on making them the center and objective of all strategy. It is essential to enhance this area’s initiatives and resources, not only to establish a connection with our internal public and benefit from their cooperation but also to be effective and leading in the recruitment and retention of the best talent, something that will undoubtedly determine our continuity.”
In addition, Mut’s new division has a growing department specialized in Talent (professional development, head hunting…), headed by Yovana Aparicio, and a department entirely dedicated to People Management (Labor Relations) under the responsibility of Jose Manuel Gonzalez.
For Mut, who will also join the Consultancy’s Management Committee, this new stage is a challenge that he assumes with great enthusiasm: “I love the ATREVIA project; I am very excited about the opportunity to join an organization with such a tremendous commitment to Talent and with diversity as one of its main focuses, something that I consider a clear sign of the companies that want to be part of change that we have ahead of us. I am confident this will be a journey of learning and mutual growth on which I will strive to make the most of and contribute as much as possible”.
