Madrid, December 16th, 2021. ATREVIA, a global Communication and Strategic Positioning company, has incorporated Juan Sánchez Rubio as the new Chief Creative Officer. The company has chosen him to lead its creative projects, serving as a business driving force and transversely enriching its communication across all areas.
“I believe I am joining ATREVIA at the right time. Today, clients are more aware than ever that creativity is an incredible driving force behind business development and that it must be at the heart of all the projects that brands launch, regardless of the discipline or format they are working with”, stated Sánchez.
Juan Sánchez has spent more than two decades working in large multinational agencies such as DDB and TBWA. In the latter, he held the agency’s top creative responsibility for 14 years and, in addition, during the last five years, he served as Creative Vice-president in Madrid and Barcelona. In 2020 he launched G R A C E, ” the agency that produces,” which in as little as a year and a half established a different business model, one which unites creativity and production in the market.
Throughout his career, he has won dozens of awards in a wide range of festivals worldwide, including 17 Lions at the Cannes Lions, and has served as a jury member in most of these events. Over the years, he has worked for clients such as ONCE, McDonald’s, PlayStation, Ecoembes, Renfe, DGT, Santander, Air Europa, Turespaña, D.O Rueda, Cruz Roja, Arcopharma, etc.
“Although it is emotionally challenging to abandon a personal project like G R A C E in a profitable phase, I did not have any doubts after learning about the project that ATREVIA offered to me. Personally and professionally, I believe that it represents the next step for me. After working in multinational creative agencies for over 20 years, directing TBWA for numerous years, and then launching G R A C E, ATREVIA is a pleasant sensation of starting over, doing something different, and facing new challenges. This always motivates me and leaves me feeling professionally recharged. Taking on the Chief Creative Officer role at ATREVIA is a challenge and, at the same time, a great opportunity.
Isabel Lara, Vice President of the company, pointed out that “ATREVIA’s commitment to creativity is unquestionable, and Juan’s incorporation comes to reinforce this commitment in every project that comes out of the company.” “On the one hand, strengthening creativity in advertising campaigns and the creation of branded content, and on the other hand, collaborating with professionals from other areas of the company, such as PR, Positioning, Digital, Data, and Consulting,” she added.
