ATREVIA, a global Communication, and Strategic Positioning company, has announced the incorporation of Ricardo Cabral de Melo as the new director of Digital in their Portuguese office. The incorporation aims to establish ATREVIA among the leading digital consultancies in the market, strengthening its capacity to successfully face any digital challenge with a solid strategic base and creative ideas that guarantee the best solutions for clients that trust in their services.
The integration reflects the consultancy firm’s evident desire to continue investing in the Portuguese market, in line with its strong commitment to creativity and digitalization as fundamental pillars of communication and marketing.
With a degree in Public Relations and Advertising, Melo began his career in the journalism field. However, his professional career was mainly oriented towards the digital communication world, a sector in which he has more than 20 years of experience. He started in web design and development, a market in which he founded and managed a company, and has since moved on to complementary areas of digital communication.
He has dedicated the last nine years to the digital strategic and creative direction of the marketing and advertising agency, Euro M’. He has worked with the digital communication of brands such as Trident, Schweppes, Royal, Chips Ahoy!, Makro, 5ASEC, Repsol, and Vitaminas, amongst many others.
Ana Margarida Ximenes, president of ATREVIA Portugal, stated: “We are very happy with Ricardo Melo’s incorporation to the ATREVIA team, a talented professional with an impressive career spanning various sectors. Digitization and creativity are becoming increasingly essential in organization’s strategies.”
“The world and the way we communicate has drastically changed in the last few years along with the growth of the digital sector. Trends change by the second, and that’s the speed at which brands also have to adapt. However, one thing remains fixed: no one can resist a good idea, and that continues to be the path to success. It is in this domain where we want to leave our mark, reinforcing ATREVIA’s positioning as a creative agency that responds in an agile way with great ideas, innovation and impact,” notes Ricardo Melo regarding his arrival to the consultancy.
