ATREVIA, a global Communication and Corporate Affairs company, has just joined the B Corp community for its compliance with high standards in terms of social and environmental performance, transparency, and corporate responsibility. B Corps lead a global movement of people transforming the global economy to benefit everyone and the planet.
The company, characterized by its activist spirit and its work in building a future and a company more committed socially and environmentally, joins a growing community of companies that are redefining the meaning of business success: a success that is measured not only by economic benefits, but also by the well-being of people, communities, and the planet. This approach aims for all companies to compete to be not only the best in the world but mainly the best for the world.
ATREVIA has obtained an overall score of 88.5, with the aspects related to Workers, Governance, and Community being the most highly valued, in addition to a notable figure of 15.7 points in the Impact Business Model.
The B Corp standard measures management performance across the company and covers five key impact areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers. B Lab grants it to leading companies in their social and environmental commitment after surpassing a rigorous evaluation process through which companies must provide evidence of their good practices and incorporate their legal commitment to social purpose in their bylaws.
ATREVIA is now part of a community of more than 7,000 companies worldwide that have become B Corp. The B Corp community reflects the European economy with companies from multiple industries and sizes. These include well-known brands such as Patagonia, Alpro, Camper, Triodos Bank, Alessi, Ecoalf, and Innocent.
Pablo Sánchez, executive director of B Lab Spain, states: “We are delighted to welcome ATREVIA to the B Corp community. This community works to reduce inequality, respect and restore the environment, strengthen communities, and create high-quality jobs with dignity and purpose. ATREVIA is a new member of the B Corp community, demonstrating by example how these outcomes can be achieved.”
Núria Vilanova, president and founder of ATREVIA, believes in fighting for what you stand for.”At ATREVIA, our work has always focused on battling for causes close to our hearts. We aim to be change activists. Every client presents an opportunity for us to instill commitment and activism. Vilanova believes that companies also have the potential to reshape the world. Being a B Corp is challenging, especially with a team of 525 people across 15 countries. The larger and more global the company, the more challenging it is to gain this certification. But we believe in it. For us, it is not an end but another step to continue growing and spreading. Many causes matter to us, women and diversity in general, the young and the elderly, inequality and the environment, and the public and private sectors, with a special focus on defending Latin America, social networks, and AI -as a defense of freedom and as an attack on freedom, and corporate governance, so necessary for these companies to be examples of good practices and agents of change.”
