ATREVIA, a global firm specializing in Communication and Corporate Affairs, is happy to announce the appointment of Carlos Díaz-Rosillo as its Director and Representative in the United States. In his role leading the USA DESK, Díaz-Rosillo will assist ATREVIA’s European and Latin American clients with their positioning and business development strategies in the US, primarily in Miami and Washington, DC. Furthermore, he will promote ATREVIA’s Communication and Strategic Positioning services across Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries, Brussels, and any entities interested in entering European or Latin American markets. Díaz-Rosillo will collaborate with the company’s partner agencies in the US to accomplish these objectives.
Carlos Díaz-Rosillo brings a wealth of experience to his new role, with an impressive resume as an educator, administrator, entrepreneur, political strategist, public communicator, and former senior US Government official. He presently spearheads the Adam Smith Center for Economic Freedom, where his responsibilities include administration, strategic vision, and the development and implementation of various programs.
In his earlier career, Díaz-Rosillo worked at the highest ranks of the US Government for four years. His roles included Assistant to the President, Director of Policy and Interagency Coordination at the White House, Senior Vice President and Operations Director at the National Endowment for the Humanities, and Acting Principal Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs. Before this, he was part of the Government Faculty at Harvard University, teaching multiple courses about the US presidency for over a decade and serving as Harvard’s vice dean. His credentials also include political analysis work with renowned media outlets, both nationally and internationally.
ATREVIA’s new US director holds degrees in Civil Engineering and International Relations, a Master’s in Public Policy and Government, and a Doctorate in Government, all from Harvard.
