“Only if you are aware that something important is happening, it will change. Only if you are aware that either you change or you die, you will feel more or less the urgency to change.” That’s how Enrique Tellado, CEO of EVO Bank, referred to the necessity to tackle disruption in companies and society at the #TopDisruptive conference organized by ATREVIA and Deusto Business School.
Iñaki Ortega, director of Deusto Business School, and Asun Soriano, CEO of ATREVIA, were in charge of moderating the event, which was also attended by Miguel Angel Navarro, general director of Catenon. Both have agreed on the importance of managing talent and reeducating and transforming people to adapt to tomorrow’s jobs and needs. “Transformation is causing and will be the end of many jobs that we know today. At the same time, there are new positions that we are unable to fill”, said Navarro, insisting on how the management of talent in projects is one of the biggest challenges that companies face in the future.
“This fourth revolution goes further than previous ones”, remarked Tellado, who believes that “artificial intelligence will be the biggest game changer that society has ever faced”. “intelligence will not be monopolized by human beings anymore. If we are conscious that this is occurring, we can set the rules of the game, so that it is not out of our control. I believe that we have control over our future, and it can be spectacular”.
Additionally, Miguel Angel Navarro, has highlighted how technology has allowed them to develop their business model at a global level. “Thanks to it, we can now find talent for a client in any part of the world and have one our hiring professional interview them from any part of the world in real time.” Despite this, the general director of Catenon has remarked how 80% of its value offer is in the knowledge acquired during the process. “By knowing the candidates better, we can help clients improve their processes and learn more about the markets in which they operate.”
