Núria Vilanova, founder and president of ATREVIA, was interviewed by the digital economic newspaper Empresa Exterior, on the current need for Latin American companies to internationalize themselves in the European market.
Núria Vilanova, also president of CEAL Ibérico, stated that Spain plays a big role in commercial relations with Latin America, assuring that “time and geographical zones can be an advantage in itself because it allows access to Asian markets in the mornings, Latin America in the evening and establish relations during the day with European and African countries.
There has been a special emphasis in the case of Brussels, a key and indisputable element at the time of introducing themselves in the European market. “Understanding Europe means understanding Brussels”, was stressed, explaining how Latin American companies need to pass through this European community to get closer to community legislation and open discussions with interest groups.
Finally, Núria Vilanova wanted to leave us with a final reflection on the present and future of business relations between Latin America and Spain: “Our objective is commercial interchange between Latin American and Spanish SME´s. We are in front of a new phenomenon which is very beneficial for both sides of the Atlantic”.
