Nuria Vilanova, president of ATREVIA, received yesterday in Barcelona de Mestre Award in Communications for 2019 in the category of Public Relations, in this the fourth edition.
From 2016 La Facultad de Comunicación y Relaciones Internacionales Blanquerna and FUNDECO, Foundation for Communications, and with help of the Generalitat of Catalunya, organize yearly these awards that have the objective of recognizing the work done by those professional of the sector that make up, journalism, public relations and advertising, that have become a notable example for the quality of their work, their endeavor in divulging communication, and in the formation of professionals and their predisposition at the moment of sharing their experience with younger generations.
When receiving the award, Mrs. Vilanova highlighted the illusion for learning new things and the tenacity of a committed team as the keys to the success of ATREVIA. “Today communication has become more important than ever, and this moment is fundamental, not only to boost the truth but to destroy lies, with core values. We need a human part that connects us all”, she indicated.
Among the winners since the beginning of these awards one can find great professionals of the sector like, Lluis Bassat, Coen, Eloisa Alonso, Robert Rodergas and Carles Bosch, Arisó. In this fourth edition Gemma Nierga has also been awarded in the category of journalism and Joaquin Lorent, in the sector of Advertising. All of them share not only a great career trajectory, but the good will that have motivated their efforts in transmitting their knowledge.
El Auditorio de la Facultad de Comunicación and Relaciones Internacionales Blanquerna was the selected venue for this ceremony, that took place yesterday’s afternoon and had the participation of Jose Maria Carbonell, dean of the center, and Jose Angel Abancens, president of FUNDECO. “The idea behind this initiative, that originated in FUNDECO, resides and that there was no other previous form in the sector that recognized professionals for future generations”, declared Carbonell.
