“Essence, Values and Communication are the heart of the continuity of a family business or any project in life”, pointed Ignacio Osborne, President of Osborne, during his presentation of the book “The essence of family business. Values and communication“, written by the president and founder of ATREVIA, Núria Vilanova.
The event took place at the SEGIB auditorium (Ibero-American General Secretariat), and was chaired by Ana Pastor, president of the Deputies Congress. Osborne and Vilanova were accompanied by Jordi Nadal, editor and founder of Plataforma Editorial.
The book recounts the personal and professional experiences of more than 50 of the most prolific Iberic-American businessmen from 18 countries, including such business man as, Slim, Servitje, Motta, Luksic, Sarmiento, Gilinski, Benavides, Vicini, Puig, Raventós and Pascual. The book was written with the collaboration of Rebeca Grynspan, Ignacio Osborne and IESE professor, Josep Tàpies.
Throughout its pages, three key pillars of any organization are analyzed, especially important for family businesses: the founder’s dream, values and communication. “The protagonists of this book are people who have turned their dream into a project, transforming businesses, sectors, regions and countries with the support of their families”, expressed Núria Vilanova.
