ATREVIA is finalist in the 2015 EMEA Gold SABRE Awards with the campaign Pasión de asistir. Historias directas al corazón (passion to help. Stories for the heart) developed for Tena, SCA S.A. in the category by sectors of the industry for healthcare service providers.
“Pasión de asistir” is an initiative designed with TENA, a SCA brand with professional products, to award the dedication and daily effort of who takes care of senior citizens in Spanish nursing homes.
The starting point for ATREVIA was that SCA is not only related to TENA solutions for urinary incontinence but it is also a company with a real commitment for a better world. It invests in the safety of its products and their sustainability, very important factors for clients and consumers. In the end it is a company committed to the care of people.
The campaign Pasión de asistir. Historias directas al corazón recognizes the essential tasks of professionals who work daily for the well-being of senior citizens in Spanish nursing homes. It is the first campaign to highlight the work, commitment and daily efforts of nurses, assistant nurses, physiotherapists and other professionals in this area.
With a national contest, which had the participation of over 300 nursing homes in more than 16 Spanish provinces, the professionals in charge of senior citizens’ care shared their testimonies and experiences through stories and photos. All these professional stories were collected and published in a book sent to public institutions, health associations and geriatric homes.
The initiative was supported by the Ministry of Health, Spanish Nurses Association (CGE), Spanish Society of Geriatric and Gerontological Nursing (SEEGG) and nurses, assistant nurses and physiotherapists who participated. For them the project represented the recognition of society for their daily work.
