Núria Vilanova, founder and president of ATREVIA received the Funde Award 2015 for the work to make feminine social and economic realities more visible.
In its 10th edition, the Association of female entrepreneurs, professionals and managers wanted to award the work carried out by ATREVIA at the time of increasing the relevance, notoriety, business and social equality of women.
The Communication consultants published together with the IESE Business School, the Report Women in Boards of Directors in Ibex-35 Companies whose third edition (published in March 2015) revealed the number of positions occupied by women in the boards of directors in Ibex companies has grown by 2.56% in respect of 2014. Likewise, ATREVIA drivers in female leadership across the platform Mirada Plural, formed by female leaders in different areas that aim to promote the creation of a network to increase the presence of women in media, committees, institutions, boards and associations.
The ceremony of the Funde Awards was celebrated at the impressive Seu Vella cathedral, where winners from 11 categories attended. The objective of these awards is to recognize the work of female entrepreneurs, professionals and managers in areas such as culture, art, sport, communication and entrepreneurship. Likewise, they awarded these companies that have achieved to advance in areas like equal opportunities in the working environment, conciliation and innovation, to mention a few.
The non-profit association Funde was founded in 2005 and integrates more than 100 female entrepreneurs, professionals and managers. This organization ensures the presence of women in responsibility positions, as well as aiming to create a business network between members and represent them in different areas.
