Transform or disappear, there is no third alternative

3g Smart Group, in collaboration with ATREVIA, held the Workplace Design Conference, a gathering in which the transformation of the educational sector by and for people was discussed.

This event, held in the Equis room in Madrid, is part of the 19 Smart Conversations scheduled this year in 13 cities all around Europe and Latin America with the aim of generating debate on how to achieve a positive impact on people and society through transformation.

Francisco Vázquez, president of 3g Smart Group, and Javier Vega de Seoane, former president of Círculo de Empresarios started the day by dividing it into two conversations. Vázquez explained the functionality of Smart Conversations and its purpose: “smart conversations are the way of learning that we have designed in 3g Smart Group, they are talks that seek to exchange opinions with those who are at the forefront of the issue and give a cohesive tool that aids in the adaptation to this new normality “.

Context and key points for a positive transformation

The first conversation moderated by Marcos Sierra, journalist of Vozpópuli, was attended by Iratxe Pascual, CEO & founder of Ngloba, Juan Carlos Baumgartner, founder & director of SPACE, Pablo Claver, dreams manager at AEIA, Mara Balestrini, CEO of Ideas for Change, José Tomajón, major accounts director Spain of Ricoh and Xavi Escales, founder of AlwaysPeopleFirst.

The second conversation was moderated by Antonio Nuñez, partner of Parangón Partners in 3g Smart Group, who has sought the main key ideas to ensure that transformation has a positive impact on people and serves as a pulley to create a better world. This panel had the participation of Enrique Alejo, general director of RTVE, Teresa Morales, general director of Softland, Asunción Soriano, CEO and president of ATREVIA, Ángel Fernández, president and CEO of MSD. Spain, Sarah Harmon, chief motivator of LinkedIn Iberia, Cristina Álvarez, academic director of IE, Alberto Cáceres, CEO of Tison and Luis Miguel Garrigos, partner-founder of rrebrand.

Asunción Soriano (ATREVIA) highlighted the crucial points that organizations need to take in to account when encountering this challenge, “in these moments of change we must create internal dynamic activities that involve middle management and those at the top, if we want to carry out successful transformational processes”. Vega de Seoane, invited all, “to generate a system of motivation, so that employees do not end up in short-termism and thus help us carry out the process of transformation successfully”.
